List the people you admire and look to for advice…
In life, we often find ourselves seeking wisdom, understanding, and direction from those who have shaped us, whether they are people, moments, or even invisible forces. For me, my guidance comes from a combination of both tangible and intangible sources that help me navigate the complexities of life. Here are the people and forces I admire and look to for advice:
1. My Mom
Though she’s no longer physically with me, my mom’s influence remains ever present in my life. She taught me the importance of resilience, kindness, and authenticity. Her words of wisdom still echo in my mind, reminding me to trust myself, stay grounded, and always pursue what truly matters. She taught me that growth and learning are constant, and her legacy serves as a powerful reminder of the importance of inner strength and love.
2. My Intuition
I’ve learned to trust my own inner voice, my intuition, over the years. It’s the quiet whisper that guides me when I’m unsure, helping me make decisions that feel right in my gut. It’s not always the loudest voice in the room, but it is often the wisest. Tuning into my intuition has taught me to trust the journey, even when the path ahead isn’t clear.
3. My Guardian Angel
While I may not see my guardian angel, I often feel their presence during times of difficulty or uncertainty. There’s a sense of protection, comfort, and guidance that comes when I feel most lost or afraid. I believe that having someone watching over me, even in the unseen, helps me feel a deep sense of peace and trust that I am never truly alone.
4. My Ancestors
Our ancestors carry the stories of those who came before us, stories of perseverance, survival, and wisdom. I feel deeply connected to their experiences and strength, especially during moments of hardship. I often find myself reflecting on their lives, drawing strength from their trials, victories, and the legacy they’ve left behind. They remind me that I am part of something larger than myself.
5. A Higher Power Above
Whether you call it God, the Universe, or a force greater than yourself, I believe in the presence of a higher power guiding and shaping our lives. It’s through this connection that I find hope, direction, and purpose. When I surrender to the flow of life and trust that there’s a bigger picture at play, I find peace and clarity in the most unexpected ways.
6. Nature
There’s something incredibly grounding about being in nature. Whether I’m walking through a forest, standing by the ocean, or simply feeling the wind on my face, I feel a profound sense of connection. Nature reminds me of the beauty in simplicity, the importance of balance, and the resilience of life in all its forms. It’s often where I find clarity and perspective when everything else feels overwhelming.
These sources of guidance are not just figures I admire from afar, they are integral parts of my life, each contributing something essential to the way I live, love, and learn. When I need direction, strength, or peace, I know exactly where to turn, and for that, I am deeply grateful
