Today is more than a long weekend. It’s a sacred pause. A quiet moment between the noise of daily life where we remember the men and women who gave everything in service to this country.
Their names may not be known to us personally. Their stories may never make history books. But their sacrifices echo in every freedom we enjoy- every right, every peaceful morning, every hopeful tomorrow.
Memorial Day asks something of us, not just remembrance, but reflection. What do we do with the freedoms others died to protect? How do we carry forward the values they believed in? Courage, duty, & selflessness?
May we honor their legacy not only in silence and ceremony, but in the lives we lead.
