Disclaimer: I fell askeep before I had the opportunity to post this. It is a day late.

I can’t believe it’s already October 1. It honestly feels like it was just January. The leaves are changing so quickly into the most beautiful, vibrant jewel tones. I love jewel tones! They’re so elegant and seeing them everywhere makes this season feel extra special.

Chewy isn’t loving the cooler weather. My tiny 12 year old mini weenie is shivering constantly. He’s definitely a summer dog and hates the cold and the rain, so I’ve pulled out all his little sweaters and put him in one. Isn’t he handsome?

Even though it’s 66° in the house, he’s still freezing, so I turned on the heated blanket in bed so he can snuggle with me and warm up. He’s such a sweet old man. I love him so much.

I’m also loving fall clothes this year. I’ve pulled out my turtlenecks, plaid skirts, and all the cozy layers I’ve been waiting to wear. Fall feels like the season where I can really experiment with my outfits by mixing textures, colors, and layers. Here are some outfit inspirations that I found on Pinterest and adore:

Autumn is one of those rare seasons that just feels intentional with the colors, the clothes, and even the slower pace. I’m trying to soak it all in while it lasts.
