A Slow, Honest Thanksgiving

This Thanksgiving is a little quieter for me and a little slower. Nothing fancy. It’s just real life. You’ll see clips of my day, cooking, puttering around the house, and talking about the things I’m thankful for this year.

It’s my fourth Thanksgiving without my mom, so the day feels different but I invited my dad over and we’re keeping it simple. We ordered a small meal from Whole Foods — turkey breast, stuffing, mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce — all the good stuff without the stress.

In this video I’m just reflecting on what matters to me right now: the people who actually stay, the tiny things that bring me comfort, the little animals in my yard, the weird and beautiful Pacific Northwest, and all the ways I’m learning to slow down and notice my own life.

Nothing polished, nothing over the top, just honest.

Thanks for spending a bit of your day with me.
