I went through my mom’s perfumes today: Chanel, Charlie, White Diamonds, Body by Victoria, just to name a few.
So many memories that made me happy and sad at the same time. I miss my mom.
There’s something about scent, you know? It can take you back in an instant, make you feel close to someone even when they’re not here. Today, wearing a little bit of her in the air around me felt like a hug I didn’t know I needed.
Perfume isn’t just a smell. It’s memory, it’s comfort, it’s all of that.
